PhotoLift Sample Images
The following images demonstrate some applications of PhotoLift. Each example was created in under a minute using the PhotoLift plug-in. The images are rollovers; move your cursor over them to see the effect of the filter.
In this image, PhotoLift is applied to bring out texture in a stucco wall.
Black & white photographers will find PhotoLift particulary useful. Here, the plug-in is applied aggressively to obtain this dramatic rendition. (You may prefer a more subtle application.)
Detail and texture in architectural images can be significantly amplified without introducing halo artifacts.
Here, the detail is added to a flat image using selective local contrast enhancement.
In this example, global contrast has been severely reduced and local contrast enhanced. A quite different artistic rendition results.
PhotoLift can also be used for a more subtle effect. Here, the brush tool is used to bring out some depth in an animal's fur.
